A Vietnam POW returns home to his family, and they decide to escape everything and start a new life in the wilderness of Alaska. Domestic violence from PTSD is part of the story, but the book is about so much more. It’s about the determination it takes to live in the wilderness of Alaska and what some of our veterans go through when they return home. It’s another great Kristin Hannah book!
